Parkour Laser Tag @ TMV

This Sunday a PKTO.ca member Vlad will be holding a Parkour Laser Tag event at the Monkey Vault. There will be multiple course setups with different story lines to my understanding, and it should make for an interesting time. The event will run on Sunday August 16th at 8:30, for about 2 hours, maybe more. During this time the gym floor is not available for other uses.

Winter Parkour Conditioning Program

I know I know, it’s still summer time! But there has been a lot of buzz and people have been asking when this years program starts. Since there’s a lot more interest this year we expect A LOT more people to be involved to get stronger, faster and jump higher for springtime. We will start our advanced program October 1st, and it will run until the end of Spring when it changes into a more laid back summer structure. This years program is going to be a lot more refined, and a lot more intense. Get ready!!

Cartoon Network, Unnatural History

We will be running ongoing training for the main actor in a new cartoon network TV show called “Unnatural History”. The character can fight, was trained by monks, is an explorer, AND does Parkour. Go figure! His first day he killed the training, so we expect big things out of him in the show. Brayden Jones from our performance team is going to also play his stunt double, so expect even bigger things there! Im looking forward to seeing the pilot when it airs.

A while back we allowed Renee Paquette and her film crew to come into the Monkey Vault to film a little training. It ended up NOT being a training, and just a bunch of goofing around with the highlight being a really random guy coming in off the street and wrecking himself big time for the camera. Commercial Ape’d.. We mean aced!

8 Hours of shooting + 2 Parkour guys to do Stunts + 1 Monkey Suit = A very interesting day. A big congrats to Steven and Emil for doing an awesome job the day after summer meet.
