Female Guests from Quebec

At the end of this week we will be welcoming 2 female traceuses from Quebec for 3 days of intense private training. These girls will be put through one hell of a weekend, and in the end will walk away with solid programs to train whatever weakness’ we find when they return home. Although the training section is not up yet on this site, we do offer trainings in all ranges of ways that include workshops, lessons, classes, seminars and private training. Hopefully we will get around to finishing this site up as time permits!

ryersonRyerson Parkour Documentary

This weekend we have embarked on what will in the end become a 40min long Parkour documentary. Joseph, who’s currently in a Masters of Journalism program, will be following us around at various events, meets, and so on gathering footage on the Parkour scene here in Toronto. If you see someone with a camera in the next few months, make sure to say hi! There will be a great focus on beginners and their training over this winter to prep for spring, so if you are interested in becoming a candidate that he follows around more, let us know next time you are training.

December Parkour Seminar

We will be having a 20 man seminar here at the end of December. The purpose of this seminar is to cover the general programs and training methods that we use in the Monkey Vault, and to have a thorough question and answer session about Parkour. We will be taking questions from various people who train here, and who are part of the PKTO.ca community and sharing full answers that day. The date and how to be involved in this, will go up later this week so keep an eye out.

Scarborough Training Successful!

This Sunday’s training with the PKSC group and those who came from the University of Toronto Scarborough campus was a big hit. We spent it doing 15 mins of warmup, 15mins of conditioning and then an hour of circuit training. After that we warmed down and some of us went to get food to eat. The group was given free time after the training to do as they wish in the gym, but, not many used it because they were in pretty beat up shape.

Training Videos on Youtube

As we film more things in the Training Centre, and as cool noteworthy things happen during training, we will be putting them up on our Youtube Channel. It should give a little more insight to what we do here, and what kind of exercises our programs are based around. Enjoy em.

Mirror’s Edge Release

We should have the game in from Electronic Arts by the end of the week with our competition to give away a copy to follow. People who know the equipment we have will remember there are plenty of red mats in the gym, and those who have played the demo, know what this means. Bring on the obstacle course. We will be filming the day for a youtube video.
